They begin to install bureaucratic obstacles to limit the free movement of people and supplies in and out of Berlin and from the day the the Western Allies introduced the D-Mark as the new currency, the Soviets completely sealed of the Frontier and announced new restrictions.
On June 26th, 1948, the first American planes lifted off from Berlin Tempelhof and other air bases in West Germany to drop supplies in East Berlin.
At first everything seemed calm and the Russians only watched every move the Americans made, but on a rainy day in 1949 a Russian air plane crashes into one of the transports.
From that moment on all hell breakes loose and the five year European Conflict begins.
